Date Night

I'm off tomorrow for the night in Edmonton with Vaughn for my bi-annual napkin run, and to take the new car on a road trip...He's got us a great suite booked with a jacuzzi (yee haw!), so it should be lots and lots of fun. ;o)

Bought a few books today:

This one kind of appealed to me because I was such a Judy Blume fan back when I was a teenager.

I read a review on this man's 2nd book, "A Spot of Bother", and it sounded great, so I figured I'd start off with the 1st one and see how it goes.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. :o) Peace.

Ooo! You've wanted those for a while now! Glad you finally found them. So did you pay 500 or 600 for them? hahaha! I had some in the late 80's. Did you? I'm going out for a smoke.

My daughter likes Judy Blume, is the latest book for adults or can teens read it too? Have fun on your napkin run!

kare: I'll call u tomorrow evening. :o)

sue: I'm thinking it's a more grown up book compared to "are you there god? it's me margaret", but I'll let you know if it would be appropriate for younger girls.

I have that Judy Blume book too. You'll have to let me know how it is. I'm jealous you are gone to the city. I'm hoping to get down before Christmas.

Oh I really enjoyed The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. It was different. I put his second book on my to read list. I was a big Jduy Blume fan as a kid too. Let me know if Sisters is any good, I may have to give it a shot.

Hey, can't resist putting my librarian hat on: Summer sisters is more of an adult book. Not in terms of difficulty, but in terms of the amount of boot-ay going on. On the other hand, that may make it MORE appealing to teens. :)

Have a great time on your date!
