Now there's a shock. Nobody saw this one coming. I think that this alone is the reason the media drives me crazy. I guess this is what you sign up for when you decide to become a celebrity...or whatever it is you'd call Clay Aiken.
Gay or not, Clay Aiken is one weird dude. Ugh. Hey, I'm going to a gay wedding in a couple weeks! I can't wait! They are two gay women getting married and they are expecting twin girls! Isn't that kinda cute, a baby for each of them. Remember I live in norhtern California near San Francisco where anything goes.
Don't know if you guys have been following what's going on in the US with the economy/elections etc., but it's just this type of celebrity nonsense that distracts the American public from more pressing issues. Who the heck cares?!!!! Although I must admit, the political/financial news is seeming quite tabloidy at the moment.
sue: Yep - he's a strange one. My cousin got married to her partner 3 years ago & it was the most beautiful wedding I had ever seen. Of course, my 'straight-laced Catholic' mother insists that they're not 'really' married. I swear, I could smack that woman if it didn't mean I'd go to hell. ahahah
chocolate nerd: I'm with desperate housewife on this one - Canadian politics are so lame. I've actually been all about the US elections this year.
Oh Clay, we knew you'd come out eventually. Everyone had it figured out from day one.
I have to agree with The Chocolate Nerd. she's got a good point. I was pissed the day they went on and on in the media about Sarah Palin's glasses and how they were now back ordered for two months. Big frickin' deal! Nobody was talking about the mess down in Texas after the latest Hurricane slammed the area and the relief response was only slightly better than Katrina. Oh, and this bail out stuff is pretty interesting, isn't it. It's a sad, sad state of events when Profits are Private and Loses are Social. It needed to be done, but I think it needed to be set up differently...I mean, seriously. Then again, I'm no busisness wiz. I have to stop...I think my blood pressure is shooting up again.

Shocking! ; )
That is one adorable baby.
He's gay? What surprise!
Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)
Seriously! THAT'S the story that made the cover?
Just a little f.y.i - if this happens when Ricky Martin's surrogate has the babies, I'm jumping off a bridge.

Hey Chocolate Nerd: We have our own federal election campaign going on right now, and it's so boring that we need tabloid crap to stay awake!
