Yum!

Everyone knows my love for coffee... I also have an absolutle love for chocolate....Love, love, love. I happened upon the website of "chocolate nerd" (www.chocolatenerd.blogspot.com) when I was new on here...She's amazing - and what a blog! She tries out all these different chocolates & stuff and reviews them! She even makes these amazing notecards and journals that are published by Random House....What a woman.

Anyway....back on 28 November, she did a post about these fresh baked brownies made in South Africa, by this company called Khaya Cookie Company (www.khayacookies.com/index.htm). They provide employment to the men and women in a town that is riddled with poverty.... Anyway, after reading about this company, I expressed how interesting they must be. And guess what???? SHE SENT ME ONE!!!! Seriously, people - I'm spoiled beyond belief!

I've decided to wait until the weekend to try it - with an extra large cup of coffee, of course! :o)

Thanks again, Imani! You're a doll!

Have a great evening, everyone. Peace

Made a marble cheesecake and had a tin of 36 Fat Witch baby brownies which you have to eat in a week or refrigerate...almost done:) Ha ha. I haven't yet tried the Khaya brownies, don't really want to see another brownie for atleast a week! LOL So please, do tell me how they are:) and thanks for making me blush. such kind words:)Best, Imani

Yummy! You lucky girl! I just made brownies for the fam today but unfortunately I can't eat them. They give me a tummy-ache. Can you imagine anything worse? Enjoy that brownie for me.

Ghiradelli brownies rock. I have 3 mixes left from Christmas baking. Come on over and we'll have a brownie trade off over coffee.

There's 4 food groups- chocolate, coffee, caffiene, and chocolate. Don't believe me, ask my hubby.

Have a great day Darlene! Enjoy your brownies.

sue: is it just brownines or chocolate in general?

dh: I figured you'd like her site! lol

cris: coffee & chocolate are my 2 weaknesses....oh, and caramel. Giradelli chocolate is great - have never had the brownies, though...You can buy them in a mix? You can send me some if you want...We'll do a trade-off. LOL

Free stuff in the mail and you witnessed a take down in the parking lot at Walmart! OMG...are you like the luckiest person on earth? Seriously! Are you one of those people that buy a raffle ticket at a function and win. I never win. I have bought enough raffle tickets to account for half the missing rain forest and I only one a medium pizza. I never get to see takedowns or anything fun. OK, I did get to see the hot guy in the sexy emerald green suit, but that didn't last long and I couldn't ask questions about it after I saw it. I guess Sucking up to Santa does pay off. I'm trying it next year.

netter: LOL it's all about the Santa lap dance. ROFL

kare told you about the WalMart experience? I'll have to blog about it - I managed to get 1 picture on my phone...It didn't come out very well, as I was driving and there was friggin traffic everywhere. It's amazing what amuses me. As for winning things, I only seem to win meat, remember?

lol....Kare blogged about it. You will have to go into detail it sounds fun. There is something about a good freak show going on that I love. Isn't that bad to say, but its so true. Gotta run, I'm going to have to practice my lap dance and shaking my jingle bells.

I knew you liked coffee. Chocolate too? I'm obsessed with both -- you and I might be, like, the same person in parallel universes ... or something.

Anyway, would it kill you to save me a square centimeter of that damned brownie? Or are you going to just hog it all for yourself?

dan: Clearly we're the same person (except I don't own a juicer....) Hey, I still have a piece of gumdrop cake saved for you! I'll add a piece of brownie to your stack of goodies that's starting to pile up at my house. ;o)
